Very sturdy gaff with a good bit of weight behind it. Punches through fish easily and the replaceable tip makes keeping the tip sharp simple. No more grinding the tip sharp. Well built and I have no problem bringing in fish upwards of 60-70 pounds.

You’ll never need another gaff. About to lose a fish at the boat? There’s no digging for a gill or other soft spot, slam the Captain’s Hook home anywhere on the fish’s body and know you’ll penetrate and be able to life the fish in. It has the mass to keep you from bouncing and a replaceable tip (same size and thread as your bowfishing arrows) so you know that you’ll always be able to confidently collect the game that you’ve arrowed. The rubberized grip has lots of traction in the hand, but if you’re accident prone, then there’s an intrinsic loop to provide you with something to rope to your wrist too. Buy this one gaff, and you’ll never buy, build, or need another!

This gaff is very heavy and will snag the toughest of fish with one easy swing. Makes landing fish quick and easy!
