The AMS Original Retriever has no bail to release or button to push before the shot, offering zero drag and exceptional line control. It's a fast, simple reel that takes only minutes to learn and yet provides a lifetime of bowfishing excitement! Anodized aluminum housing with corrosion resistant celcon, brass and stainless steel parts ensures a long life in fresh or salt water! Mounts quickly to most bows that have standard sight holes. Optional Dovetail Mount adds the ability to move the reel forward or back providing a perfect fit for your trigger finger. To retrieve your arrow, pull lightly on the trigger and turn the handle. The bowfishing line will stack into the bottle and be instantly ready for your next shot. Add a Piranha Arrow and a Tidal Wave Rest and you are ready to hit the water!

- I've only been bowfishing for a couple of years, but this is the best retriever I've ever used. Throughout these years I've never had a problem. Found out you can shoot 4 times faster with the reel than the spool(unless u hit a fish). Went a couple times since i got it havent had any problems. But its awsome and definate for serious bow fishers.

We tried a couple of the other retrieval systems when we first began bow fishing. Although they worked they were not efficient, they were slow on the retrieve and sometimes even dangerous because of "line snag" and snap back.
I now have the AMS Retrievers set up on both of my fishing bows. My brother also has both his bows set up with the AMS Retriever. The only way to go.

- I love every aspect of the 310. I was using spool set-up before and I kept getting the line caught resulting in the arrow coming back at me. The last straw was whn the arrow hit me in the, lets just say it hit me where the sun dont shine. I broke down and spent the 60 bucks. well worth it. Effortless retrieves.
