Hip Bone Bow Holder System Review by Jonah Powell

I like it... Works good when you're on the boat....shoot a fish and need to free your hands up...just slap it in the holder. Goes in easy...comes out easy. I've walked around the yard...jumped up and down with it...and it never comes out of the holder. My bow balances good with the ball mounted on the slide....not so good when mounted in the stabilizer bushing. I'm a short guy and even with a 32in arrow nocked I can put the bow in the holder.

The instructions recommend that the ball be mounted on the cable slide bar in front of the cable slide (towards the grip). Unlike most photos which show it mounted on the very end.

One thing to consider...the 2 set screws on the ball does mar the cable slide bar....make sure you have it exactly where you want it before you tighten the screws!

Personally, I think this is one of the best kept secrets of bowfishing gear. (Posted on 6/14/10)
